This Nurse Was Dying Of Cancer, Her Final Words Wrecked Thousands Of Families how she exchanged babies for fun!

A former maternity ward nurse in Zambia has allegedly made a deathbed confession that sounds like a plot straight out of a movie. Her confession about switching babies “for fun” quickly went viral. Elizabeth Mwewa, a nurse who worked in the maternity ward at The University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Zambia, and has terminal cancer and confessed “on her sick bed” that she exchanged more than 5,000 babies of new mothers during her work in the maternity ward.

Here’s what Mwewa said:“If you were born in UTH between the years 1983 to 1995 chances are your parents may not be your biological parents. I had developed a habit of swapping newly born babies just for fun. So take a good look at your siblings, if for example everyone is light and you are dark you are that child and I am really sorry for that.”“I have found God, I am now born again. I have nothing to hide. In the 12 years I worked in the maternity ward at UTH, I swapped close to 5,000 babies,” She added.

This far-fetched claim quickly went viral, and the worst part is, Mwewa admits that she actually found it fun to swap around babies, and that was the reason that she continued to do it for so many years.

Gen Muhoozi: “We can deal with Guinea coup forces in a day if Museveni allows”

The Commander of Land Forces, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has boasted that it wouldn’t take Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) a day to depose Guinea-Conakry coup forces.Muhoozi made the comments in reference to Guinea-Conakry troops led by Col Mamady Doumbouya which ousted 83-year-old Guinean President Alpha Condé, last week. The coup in Guinea was the fourth in Africa in just over a year after two in Mali and one unsuccessful coup attempt in Niger. On Tuesday, Muhoozi, in a tweet said UPDF would only need President Museveni’s instructions to discipline such troops he claims are ‘undisciplined’.“If our Commander in Chief gave us instructions it wouldn’t take UPDF a day to discipline mutinous troops like the ones in Guinea-Conakry Lt Gen Muhoozi said.

Muhoozi’s comments come a week after his father Museveni, who is also the Commander in Chief of the armed forces condemned the coup in Guinea. In an exclusive interview with France 24, Museveni said the Guinean coup leaders needed to leave power saying these are not a solution to the country’s problems.“That’s unfortunate and it is a step backwards. Those military coups are of low value, we had them in the 1960s, and they were part of Africa’s problems. I condemn the coup, I don’t accept the idea of coups, they are not a solution.” Museveni said

Man fails to clear bride price, wife taken away

The remarkable case of a bride price defaulter whose partner was recently taken away from him has highlighted what experts are calling the commercialisation of marriage experience in southwestern region. The case, whose details went viral on social media, took root after a 29-year-old Laban Sabiti, a retail businessman in Bishayu Village, Kitojo Parish, Ruhija Sub-county in Rubanda District, was left stranded with five children. These also include a 13-month toddler, who was left to the care of its father after he allegedly failed to settle bride price arrears totalling Shs6m.Mr Sabiti was left stranded after his father-in-law, Mr Geoffrey Kakona — a resident of Kirima Village, Bushuura parish in Kanungu District — reportedly reclaimed his daughter.“It is true I delayed paying bride price but I was planning to pay it in December this year. I was surprised when my father in-law came and took my wife, Ms Prize Twikirize even after explaining to him that I was willing to fulfil my traditional obligation,” Mr Sabiti, who has filed a case of child neglect with the police, says. The eldest of Mr Sabiti’s children is aged 10, while the youngest — a 13-month toddler — was still enjoying the bonding experience of breastfeeding.ADVERTISEMENTMr Sabiti’s travails highlight the marginalising and weakening of young males who intend to get married.Ankole Kingdom premier George William Katatumba has spoken out against what he termed as ‘the commercialisation of wedding events’ as one of the greatest threats to marriage.“Our culture is being eroded. People dictate what pleases them at the expense of culture, which is why marriages are failing,” Mr Katatumba, who is also the chairperson of Ankole Cultural Trust, says.He adds: “Traditionally, a girl tells her parents that she has identified a suitor and the parents set a date for the spouse’s first visit. When introduction is done, parents agree on a date for bride price payment before legalising their marriage.”Mr Katatumba notes that traditional norms were not honoured in Mr Sabiti’s case since there was no recognised marriage.“Since Sabiiti has sired children, he has to pay a fine that usually consists of millet flour, a jerrycan of Tonto, a goat or sheep,” Mr Katatumba reveals.‘Bride price unconstitutional’Mbarara District senior probation officer, Mr Steven Tumwiine, weighed in on the debate, claiming bride price was outlawed by the government.Mr Tumwiine said: “According to the laws of Uganda, dowry or bride price was abolished and any person aged 18 years and above has a right to marry a man or woman of her or his choice. So, the old man [Ms Twikirize’s father] is infringing on the rights of his daughter. The old man is also infringing on the rights of his grandchildren by denying them a chance to have parents.”The Constitutional Court, however, in 2017, dismissed a Mifumi Ltd’s petition where the constitutionality of bride price was challenged at first instance. The court held that “the marriage custom in question was not unconstitutional.” Earlier, in 2015, the Supreme Court ruled that the practice of refunding a bride price on the dissolution of a customary marriage is unconstitutional. The marriage custom of bride price has often been treated as a sticking point. Community development officers from the districts of Kabale, Kisoro and Rubanda told Daily Monitor on Monday that men in Kigezi treat women as their property because they are forced to pay exorbitant sums in form of bride price.“Bride price is no longer looked at as a cultural belief, but rather a commercial venture for the girls’ parents who demand too much from the men before they can give away their daughters,” Mr Sam Niyonzima, the Kisoro District community development officer, said.BackgroundHow things worked in the pastTraditionally, in Kigezi and Ankole, a groom was expected to deliver two cows as bride price. Mr Sam Niyonzima, the Kisoro District community development officer says nowadays, they pay anywhere between Shs5m and Shs20m. He adds that such figures threaten rather than promote marriage.“My district records about 10 cases of domestic violence per month. Some of the wives whose husbands have not paid bride price abandon such marriages,” he said. The situation is not different in Rukungiri District, where prohibitively high figures have precipitated domestic violence cases.“In the past, a spouse would pay bride price in form of four cows and four goats, but now, it ranges between Shs4m and Shs10m,” Mr Christopher Namara, the Kabale District community development officer, said.“After paying high bride price, some husbands take their wives as a bought property, which results in family misunderstandings,” he added. The State Minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development, in-charge of Youth and Children, Ms Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke, advised parents not to commercialise marriage customs.“It should be the responsibility of the husbands to pay something within their means as a token of appreciation to their in-laws,” Ms Mateke advised.

#SexTalk: You want him to go down on you but are you sure you are a well-cooked meal? Would you go down on you? What are you doing walking around with a whiff of rot?

Ever wanted to go so bad and the only available bathroom is dirty? But you have to go, so you close your eyes and decide that whatever happens, you will deal with it later.Stop assuming that you are doing a man a favour by giving him some. Both parties want to have a good time. Both want good sex and therefore should make sure that they prepare for it to be awesome. If you are going to enjoy the game, you have to know that you are doing yourself a favor. Just showing up is not good enough. You have to know that the meal you are about to serve has enough soup and is fresh. The aroma when you part those legs should be inviting. Make someone want you from how clean you are. Men want a clean woman but they may never say because once it is up, all they want to do is help calm it down. Most one-night stands are not because men are awful ghosting human beings. The one experience is just bad enough that they don’t want to have more. You probably were smelling like a bloated dead whale. You want him to go down on you but are you sure you are a well-cooked meal? Would you go down on you? What are you doing walking around with a whiff of rot?Be kind to that hungry human being. You are not doing charity work. Sex is a two-way street. You want him to enjoy as much as you will, clean up and show up.Make sure those walls a crystal clean that when he decides to go down low, it is worth every lick. We care too much on the upper side but magic is on the down-low.Every part of you when you are preparing to meet someone should be clean. Those salty nipples under the black bra do not help foreplay.Maybe he is not that bad but you need to shower more. You could be the reason he wants to slide in and bounce right away. You could be the reason you have not had an orgasm in a while. Every woman should know when things don’t smell right. Every woman knows when it is time to clean up.Stop inserting things into that choochkie in search of artificial water. That place knows how to clean itself. If you like him enough, you will be wet enough.Squirting will come true when you are clean enough to help your body let go. Pay attention to that place. That, at the end of the day, is your face. A wet clean choochkie is remembered more than a made-up face.If you are to invite someone’s son in, do whatever you have to to make sure that your honey-pot house is clean enough. A normal woman should have wet natural wipes in her car and handbag.Till next time, remember that men deserve wet, clean choochkie.

Museveni overrules NDA on Gulu varsity Covid drug

President Museveni has given Gulu University the go-ahead to continue the development of Covilyce-1, a herbal drug developed by the university and believed to cure Covid-19 in 72 hours. The President made the declaration on Wednesday while meeting a team of four scientists from Gulu University to discuss the status of Covilyce-1 development and how to progress with it. A highly placed source, who attended the meeting but asked to remain anonymous, said the President was impressed with the team but wanted to understand what its viability is. Mr James Onono, the university’s deputy spokesman, said the President gave the go-ahead to Dr Alice Lamwaka, the lead researcher of the drug, and her team to continue to produce the drug without interference. “The President insisted that the drugs be registered and patented in the principal investigator’s name while the university gets a share of it, to protect, encourage and promote the scientists to do greater works,” Mr Onono said. Mr Onono said the meeting with the President yielded three key action points including a directive that the university is availed more than Shs3b to industrialise the production of the drug.

“The meeting agreed that Dr Lamwaka and her team be supported for further clinical development of Covilyce-1 with Shs3.7b immediately. They have also agreed that observatory tests for the drug be conducted at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital,” he said. Repeated attempts to speak to Dr Lamwaka for a comment were futile since she could not answer our calls. However, the President’s position on the development of the Covilyce-1 drug contradicts a directive by the National Drug Authority (NDA) that the university cease production and marketing of the product until it formalises its production. On Monday, NDA warned the university against putting the drug on the market. “This product has not been approved. It shouldn’t be on the market and the innovators have been warned. Before we certify a product, it shouldn’t be used as we can’t guarantee its safety,” NDA tweeted. Mr Abiaz Rwamiri, the NDA spokesman, later told Daily Monitor that a team from the authority had been sent to the university to establish who authorised the production of the drug and what procedures they are following. “What we don’t agree with is that this product is being used on anyone without completing the study because there are guidelines for testing the drug and we have not given any approval for the drug to be used outside the laboratory,” he added. On Tuesday, the university rejected a set of conditions issued by NDA to be met before fronting Covilyce-1 on the market, which include declaring the contents of the drug by naming the details of each plant as well as declare the formula they are using to create it.But Dr Lamwaka said: “We told the team that we cannot name the plants because Covilyce-1 is still a lab-based product, which is not officially in the market. It is too early to show them the formula because we are still continuing with research on the herbs. We are indeed giving the patients the herbs, but we are just helping because we are facing a pandemic.” Mr Rwamiri said the NDA agreed with the university to withdraw the product until scientific analysis and approval has been made. But the NDA yesterday said they were happy about the funding that the university had secured following the President’s directive. “If it is indeed true that they [Gulu University] have secured the funding, we as NDA congratulate them. We hope it will help them in developing their herbal medicine and ensure that they follow all guides to achieve safety, quality and efficacy of the drug.”

  • High cholesterol. Some early research shows that taking crushed black seed increases “good” high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and reduces total cholesterol, “bad” low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, and blood fats called triglycerides in people with borderline high cholesterol. Other research shows that taking both crushed black seed and garlic oil in addition to other products that lower cholesterol, such as simvastatin, can lead to larger improvements in blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels than simvastatin alone. However, not all research agrees.

Mikel Arteta receives £40m transfer boost as Arsenal fans go wild over latest concept kit leak

Here is your Arsenal morning digest for Friday, February 12.

Concept kit leak emerges

Arsenal supporters have been left with an image inside their heads about what next season’s away shirt could look like after one was leaked online.

Popular football website Footy Headlines, who often release images of kit leaks and a provide a range of other kit-related topics, uploaded images of what the Gunners’ 2021/22 away shirt could like look based on the designs made by a FIFA Kit Creator.

Two designs have been released, both of which are in Pearl Citrine. One of the shirts sports a blue trim and the other a burgundy one.

Whilst the Adidas logo and ‘Emirates Fly Better’ sponsor feature on both shirts, one of the most compelling changes could be the change in crest, with the cannon having been added to both instead of the modern-day Arsenal club crest.

Although these leaks are nothing more than concepts and possibilities at this moment in time, the designs have gone down well with the fans who have spotted them on social media.

Arsenal handed Buendia boost

Arsenal’s hopes of signing Norwich City midfield architect Emiliano Buendia this summer have been handed an encouraging boost after it emerged that the Canaries would be open to selling him if his true valuation was met.

Throughout the January transfer window, which saw Arsenal sign three new players, the club was heavily linked with signing Buendia after tracking his developments for several months.

However, the Canaries were not keen on the idea of letting go of their star asset midway through the season, especially when he is key to their promotion push.

Now, though, Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber has opened the door for Buendia to leave, alongside the likes of Max Aarons and Todd Cantwell, if his valuation is met.

“We have our valuation and if people don’t want to pay that, they don’t get them,” Webber told The Athletic.

“We don’t see it as us being unreasonable, we do know what our players are worth, what we’ve done for them, and what we want to be compensated for if they were to go.

“It’s inevitable that interest will come for those three because they’re terrific players and very experienced now for their age.

“When their journey here ends, we’ll make sure they get to a good place. Most importantly, their legacy has to be leaving Norwich in the best place it can be.”

According to the latest reports, Norwich value Buendia at around £40million.

Bruce makes Willock confession

Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has admitted that he considered the idea of naming new signing Joe Willock on the bench for last Saturday’s 3-2 win over Southampton.

Willock joined the Magpies on transfer deadline day on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season, bringing an end to Bruce’s month-long search for a central-midfielder.

The Gunners star made an immediate impact on Tyneside, scoring the opening goal to set the Magpies on their way to a huge three points, repaying Bruce for the faith he had shown in him.

As quoted by ChronicleLive, Bruce said: “We’re delighted. When a new signing walks through the door you wonder whether to put them on the bench or not.

“Then we said: ‘We’ve brought the kid into play, so let him play.’

“To score after 15 minutes he will remember his debut, it’s the quickest by any debutant so great for him.”

Newcastle are next in action against Chelsea on Monday night in the Premier League.
